Open Science Week will begin on June 9!

What do you wish was more open about the world of science—academia? research? access? software? NASA released the source code for their software in April. Who's next?

Open access, open data, and open source software are gaining popularity in fields from chemistry to life sciences. For example, Arfon Smith was hired by GitHub to push open science forward

If you have something you think is interesting to share, please send us your story.

Submit your article by June 5. Articles should cover how the open source model or open source software/hardware is being used to help further scientific research, innovation, technologies, and ideas. Anything science-related goes! We will review it and respond to all submissions. Read our guidelines for more information on how to send in your submission.
