I'm pretty sure SeeClickFix is based on an idea pioneered by Francis Irving, one of the founders of the UK's MySociety movement (I know becuase I heard him on <a href="http://twit.tv/show/floss-weekly/185">FLOSS Weekly this week</a>). He created the UK's <a href="http://www.fixmystreet.com/">FixMyStreet</a> and has gone on to do a series of awesome things, all open source in the best hacker tradition. If you really want to do the subject justice you might approach him (or one of the other MySociety guys) for an interview or article.
