Great article! I've been meaning to set something up for years but have never come around to actually do it. I'll give it another go now.
Nice story! A lot of similarities of my own story into the open source world. One of the struggles I have had with open source though is to choose which tool or application to use. As there are several great alternatives which are free I do a lot of application-jumping. Should I use Ardour or non? Should I use vim, emacs, atom or geany? Gaaah.. I love to be able to choose but sometimes I also get overwhelmed whether I'm using the "best" application.
