Gotta say, I'm seeing a major pendulum swing in favour of "criticism-interpreted-as-abuse" and CoCs which remove such basic tenets of justice like "right of reply". I work hard hard for inclusivity and greatly appreciate diversity (both visible and more subtle), but I don't think equity can be fairly won if the cost is basic justice. I tend to agree with Hans that things can (and have, in many places) swung into the realm of (ultimately self-defeating) overcompensation. Without the ability to engage in honest discourse, we all lose.
I also note that C-Map is no longer open source software... See the FAQ "Can I get Access to the Source Code of CmapTools?" near the bottom of http://cmap.ihmc.us/docs/cmaptools-faqs Too bad, would've liked to give it a try.
