Really? Which instance has been down? I've been popping in and out of my EtherCalcs on ethercalc.net and framacalc.org with no problems for the last few weeks.

Regardless, this isn't the place to report an outage. You need to contact the developer or whoever's running the instance of EtherCalc you're using.

Thanks for this dive into the mechanics of copying, Seth. It's easy to forget that there's more to copying files than using a graphical file manager or cp. Or that you can use rsync to copy files from one folder to another on your computer — I've only used it to copy between computers.
