True, but then again a tool like Scrot isn't for everyone. Is that a bad thing? No. It's just the way it is. You like it or you don't. You use it or you don't. I don't use Scrot often, but I'm grateful for it when I need it.
It's a very low cost Linux-powered laptop. Not sure how it compares to a PiTop, but at $99 USD the Pinebook is relatively cheap.
