Just to clarify: I sort of/kind of mentioned convert (well, GraphicsMagic anyway) in a previous article (https://opensource.com/life/16/9/command-line-image-tools-linux). My goal with this article was to look at other types of conversons.
I did have you in mind when I wrote the intro to the pandoc section of the article ...
