Why on Earth are you glorifying Jobs? Everyone thinks he was wonderful because he died when his company was at its peak. They totally overlook the fact that he died because he didn't seek treatment for the cancer he knew he had. Some genius.
Open source is not about genius. It's about teamwork. It's about listening to your costumers and giving them what they need. It's about trial and error; about failing early so that all your mistakes are small. Open source does not need a Steve Jobs.
