My first programming language was APL. Back in high school in the mid 1970s I would hang out in the math lab and type in programs on an IBM 2741 typeball terminal, connected over the telephone lines to a computer at the Rutgers Hill Center. I have always loved this language, though now I often use Java, Javascript, Ada, or C for various projects.
