Actually, they are keeping it private AFAIK as you need to sign and send hard copies of their "Zimbra Contributor Agreement". Only then, you will be able to contribute code. I don't think that's the way to improve collaboration. Zimbra still has a long way to get in the open source scene such as other vendors or projects like openstack, docker, etc.
