I liked your text and agree with you about informal learning. I am myself a informal learner for a long time, and still don't have a degree in IT, which makes a huge difference in finding a good job in Brazil hehe, but the results by combining both, formal and informal, methods are promising for training the staff. In the end, the core skill, learn, is what is the most valuable asset of the employees.
