Why the Ubuntu developer portal moved to DjangoCMS

Being Python was really the deciding factor, Canonical has built of years of experience with Python and Django, including having a number of libraries that we use in multiple sites. Having PostgreSQL was nice to have, but it wasn't a major factor in the decision.
