I have a background that spans many areas of IT, including web development, IT systems administration, technical writing, content management, digital media, and more; I strive to be a modern Renaissance Man. I handle open source operations in the Open Source Group at Samsung, and run Open Source Today, a news blog where I advocate open source technology and cover new developments in the open source industry.

I've always thought food recipes were the original "open source." I remember my mom sharing her recipes with family and friends when I was a kid. Whenever someone cooked a dish that was particularly good for a get-together everyone else would ask that person to write it down on a note card so others could replicate it later. I'm sure this practice extends back through human history about as long as we have been cooking our food.
I think if you ever want to see a good example of human being's desire to share source information, you don't have to look any further than food.
These look like some great resources, I'm particularly interested in the journal that covers open source software law developments as well as the Technology Innovation Management Review. Thanks for your contribution!
