Used to dual boot for the past 10+ years on a Macbook Pro and before that had a desktop running Linux/BSD.
The hammering the final nail in the coffin for me to drop OSX started with bootcamp and ended with the T2 chip.
Fedora runs just fine on my new Thinkpad as well as my old one and it will run well on any Thinkpad to come.
