Tom is project manager for SchoolTool, an open source, web based student information system designed for schools around the world, funded by Mark Shuttleworth. He is also the CEO of SIELibre, LLC., which provides commercial hosting and support for SchoolTool. Tom is a former high school English teacher and technology coordinator in the Providence, Rhode Island, public schools, with a Masters in Teaching from Brown University. Married with two young daughters living in Providence, Tom enjoys skateboarding and playing 19th century base ball with the Providence Grays.
